 | This kit allows you to backdate the Walthers Blast Furnace to a 1920's era prototype. Walthers selectively compressed their Blast Furnace by about 40% and this makes it just about perfect for a furnace built in the 1920's. By changing the topworks to an earlier design you get a model that is VERY close to scale and prototypically correct. We have redesigned the kit to make assembly much easier. The top platform is now a laser cut Acrylic assembly. We also provide an assembly jig to help hold everything square, a cut diagram for the tubing and a few different T's and Elbows to make assembly easier.
