Joe Magarac is the Paul Bunyan of steel workers. Just how this legend got started, and by who, is elusive, Some say it was the creation of a reporter on the "Pittsburgh Post" newspaper, others say that all he did was write down the stories from old Hunkie steel workers.

With the release of Walthers steel miil kits and other items on the market, modeling one of these colossal-scale industries was something we just had to do.
