Greetings:Welcome to our web page! We are a full service scale model train shop and we carry the products of all of the major manufacturers, and we try to give you prices as good as you will find anywhere. We recognize that doing business by mail can be difficult, so we try to make it as easy as possible, and give you prices that make it worth your while.
Layaways: Sorry, we no longer offer layaways.
Shipping: For domestic (Continental United States) orders we charge $9.00 per shipment up to a maximum weight of 4 pounds. For weight in excess of 4 pounds to the Continental United States the cost is actual using UPS. For delivery to overseas locations the shipping cost will be the actual as charged by USPS regardless of weight. If you wish insurance, please add $1.00 per $100.00 of the purchase. We normally use UPS, but we can ship via Parcel Post upon request. Due to the difficulties with customs since 9/11 we ship to foreign countries only if you have an established account. Shipping costs for track are based upon the actual weight and size of the shipment. In most cases this will exceed our standard shipping fee for UPS ground service.
Returns: If for any reason you feel you need to return a model, you must inform us of your intention within 3 days of receipt of the model. We will issue a Return Authorization Number (RAN) if it is determined that the return is authorized. e.g. defective merchandise, damaged, etc. Just return the item in the same condition you received it, and we will provide a store credit for the amount. Items found not to be defective are subject to a 15% restocking charge. We check every model before we ship it and we will not ship items that do not run properly. We cannot guarantee that a given model will run on YOUR layout. Variations in the quality of track-work, curve radius, etc. prevent us from offering this guarantee. We reserve the right to repair or replace items found defective. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the sales receipt. Please use UPS for returns, if possible. We will reimburse you to cost of the shipping. Items returned without a RAN will NOT be accepted. SORRY, WE NO LONGER ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCAHANGES FOR TRACK.
Representation: When submitting an order to us your compliance with our policies also validates that you have the authority to use the credit card information submitted and that you are at least 18 years of age. We are not responsible for errors caused by mis-representation.
Foreign Accounts: Individuals residing in foreign countries, wishing to purchase products are required to establish an account. The initial purchase must be paid in USD with funds drawn on a US bank. After this initial purchase, VISA or Mastercard may be used. There are foreign countries to which we do not ship. Please check with us for details.
We respect your privacy online and do not collect information about yourself except for technical information about your visit and information for purchases (using a secure server of course). If you have questions or concerns please contact us.
